The Book of the Law wisely denies us that we should call ourselves 'Thelemites', for it is the actions, not the self-applied label, that ensures that those others that call us Thelemites shall do no wrong.
We therefore state that they who would be called Thelemites have as their first and only obligation the discovery and pursuit of their True Will, entailing that the Thelemite, truly so called, acts from a perspective of enlightened and rational self-interest in all matters.
It follows that all those who would be called Thelemites also have an obligation, both rational and irrevocable, to better the World in such a manner that all impediments to the right of every individual to pursue and realise their True Will be removed, regardless of what that Will should be. In pursuit of this obligation every man and every woman is justified in any measure that truly serves the end of Freedom.
Yet let everyone recall that the greatest and most powerful weapon they possess in the pursuit of freedom is the conduct of their own lives!
The sole justification for the existence of any Order, Church or Organisation that would call itself Thelemic is that it initiate, educate and foster in its members the ethics, courage and practices that enable them to live and die in such a manner that those who call them Thelemites shall do no wrong. All else - tradition, lineage, "legal" status, forms of ritual and worship - all these count for naught, are truly but sound and fury signifying nothing, if they do not serve that one noble purpose: that the World be moved toward that happy state where "Do what thou Wilt" IS "the whole of the Law".
